Ninth Age Class Play Brings Mythology to Life
Ninth Age students hopped on stage this month to perform plays based on ancient mythology! After weeks of rehearsing, learning lines, and studying mythology, the students told the tales of Achilles, Atalanta, the Trojan War, and more. Bravo, Mighty Bees!
During the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on January 15, nearly 400 members of our community worked together to fill, weigh, seal, and package approximately 30,000 meals in support of Rise Against Hunger. A non-profit organization, Rise Against Hunger works to end world hunger by providing reliable and nutritious meals for students around the globe.
Soon, the organization will ship these 30,000 newly packaged meals to their destinations, where they will help feed families and improve children's access to education.
Thank you to the many, many students, parents, and friends who joined us in doing this important work and honoring Dr. King's legacy. Watch a recap of the day.
